Making Chile proud! Countertenor José Andrés Muñoz is a finalist in this prestigious European competition. With his interpretation of the arias “Cara sposa” and “Verdi prati” by Handel, this artist from the small Chilean town of Curepto became one of nine opera singers from around the world who will take part in the grand finale of this prestigious European competition to be held on November 18 at the Marigny Theater.

We’re so excited! Selected from more than 230 applicants, 22 Chilean and Latin American artists from Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and other countries in the region prepared with the acclaimed coach Eytan Pessen for the FIA International Auditions, conducted over two days in the Arrau Hall at the Santiago Municipal Theater.
